2005 Buick LeSabre - We love our Buick Le Sabre
My husband and I bought a 2005 Buick Le Sabre car a couple of years ago. It had a little over 50,000 miles on it when we purchased it. This car has been an excellent vehicle. We have never had any kind of problem with it. It is the limited model so it has features like leather seats, heated seats, power seats, etc. It has OnStar already installed and it works well. We were able to get a three month free trial of OnStar and we enjoyed the benefits of that. We recently took this car on a 5,600 mile vacation across country (in May of 2015) and we did not have a SINGLE problem with it. We drove through desert terrain during an unexpected downpour when we could barely see, through winding Yosemite highways while it was snowing, in the nerve racking city traffic of Sacramento traffic jams, t... We drove through desert terrain during an unexpected downpour when we could barely see, through winding Yosemite highways while it was snowing, in the nerve racking city traffic of Sacramento traffic jams, through the redwoods and all the way to the Oregon border and never, not once did we have a single issue with this car in any way. It was smooth riding, handles curvy roads well and it is very roomy. We have two teenage children and we are all tall. My daughter is the shortest at 5ft7 my son is 6'0 tall and they both sat in the back seat and had ample leg room and were very comfortable for the entire trip. I feel confident enough in my Buick Le Sabre that I wouldn't be hesitant to drive it all the way to Alaska and back. I have no doubt that it would make the trip just fine. We get good gas mileage, too. We average around 30 mpg highway. Not as great as newer vehicles but great for a car that is ten years old! We not only drove this car on a 5,600 mile trip - we CAR CAMPED on this trip. The trunk is HUGE and we were able to fit a tent, four chairs, four sleeping bags, clothing, camp stove, food... Everything we needed to camp for our 3 week trip.
We really enjoyed driving this car on our family adventure across the U.S. along Route 66 and then up to Oregon. We made a lot of wonderful memories and I'd also like to point out that this car was actually big enough that we car camped with it. It has a huge trunk and we were able to fit a tent and all of our camping gear in the trunk for our trip. I highly recommend it.

My most favorite thing about this vehicle is the engine. It runs smooth as silk and always starts very easily. Whether it's a cold winter morning or the middle of August I never have a problem starting it. It gets good gas mileage. I love the ability to change the radio station from the steering wheel. In the winter the heated seats are absolutely divine and the leather interior is easy to wipe clean when you have a spill. The leg room is more than enough even for tall people.

The only thing about this car that I wish that I could change are the cup holders. They are very small. There are two cup holders in the center console in the front seat and two on the center console in the back seat and they are all four very small sized cup holders and can not fit an extra large drink. That is really the only thing I can think of that I don't like.

2008 Buick LeSabre - I love my car.
I really like this car. Although it was an older car when I bought it, it had been well taken care of and kept in a garage most of the time. It had very few miles on it when I bought it. It has all kinds of bells and whistles on it. I love the way the seat adjusts to my preset specifications when I get in the car. I go to a lot of garage sales and the big trunk is very accommodating. The net in the trunk is very handy for securing items in the trunk. The trunk pass through allows me to transport lumber and door trim in the car from the local supply store. This car performs very well and has given me no problems so far. What I dislike about the car is that it is an older model and may not last as long as I would want it to.

When my four-year old nephew first got in the car he was thrilled by the 'rainbow' on the front windshield. As it turns out, he was looking at the tint on the windshield. Sure enough, it does make it look like a constant rainbow.

1992 Buick LeSabre - Somewhat reliable, comfortable interior
I got my vehicle when it already had around 100,000 miles on it. It still looked pretty nice for how old it was. Aside from rusting along the bottom of the car, the paint job still looked good and the windows still looked nice. The interior of the car is very nice. It has soft red material covering all the seats that make for a comfortable place to sit. The material never gets too hot or cold in the summer or winter. The interior or the car is also very spacious. There are six seats, three in the front and three in the back, in the car, and they can all be full with everyone having plenty of personal space. At the beginning the car seemed to work pretty well, but after having it for a while the battery started to fail on me every once in a while. Even after replacing the battery the ba... (more)

At the beginning the car seemed to work pretty well, but after having it for a while the battery started to fail on me every once in a while. Even after replacing the battery the battery still dies sometimes, especially if I go a week or more about driving. Sometimes that gas pedal also has a delayed reaction when trying to speed up from a stop and the vehicle has stopped on me a few times when driving. Otherwise the car has worked pretty well, so I'm assuming these problems are due to the age of car.
My favorite part of the car is the overall look of the car. The inside is a nice velvet red color and has very soft and appealing material over all the seats. The ceiling also has red material covering on it that matches. The other parts of the car are also red or grey so it all matches beautifully. The inside color also matches the outside color of the car which is very nice. I also enjoy the spaciousness of the inside of the car. It allows me to drive a lot of friends and/or family around and still have plenty of room. This is very nice for long trips. It also has a very big sized trunk ... (more)

It also has a very big sized trunk which is very helpful when going on long trips that require a lot of luggage. If I had six people riding in the care we would all be able to fit a decent sized bag in the trunk. The care has done a good job of performing for me in all required situations except for the few times when the battery has failed on me. The car drives relatively smooth and has a very strong build. Overall, I have been pretty satisfied with the cars performance in the past three years I have had it.
The worst thing about this car is the problems I have with the battery. It used to be fine when I first got it, but it started acting up after a while. The battery would randomly die from time to time which grew to be a real pain, especially when I had place to be. It also dies whenever I don't drive it enough (at least once a week) which is a pain when I'm off at college. The car also does not get the best gas mileage, though some other cars and trucks get worse. I only get around 20 miles per gallon and when you drive a lot this can really add up to a lot of money. The car also does not get the best gas mileage, though some other cars and trucks get worse. I only get around 20 miles per gallon and when you drive a lot this can really add up to a lot of money. Newer cars do a lot better job on this aspect and my car is definitely not up to par with them. The size of the gas tank is also a pain. It doesn't hold very much gas, so I have to fill it up a lot. The most I've ever been able to fit into the gas tank is 14 gallons and that's if I really let it get empty. I've also had a problem with the brights acting up lately, and they will either get stuck on or off. Again, I think that these problems are probably due to old age and the care would have performed a lot better in its prime.
