2011 Buick Enclave - Expensive to drive
The 2011 Buick Enclave is a nice riding car but expensive to maintain and has a few styling options that could be improved. That said, it is a very comfortable ride and looks pretty classy. We have the leather trim, with heated seats and they are oh so nice! The heating/cooling defrosting system has always been off. If you are going to buy an Enclave, know what you are getting.
Story
The dogs love the roomy back--we have 2 60 pound dogs and there is rom for both.
Pros
It is a smooth riding car.
It looks great.
There's plenty of storage and drink holders
Bluetooth is easy to work.
Buttons are in the right places.
AWD is great in winter.
Cons
It's a gas guzzler--at best we get 18.5 MPG highway
Design is cumbersome. With 2 bucket seats or captains chair in row 2, getting to the row 3 seats is a challenge.
The 3rd row is tiny--if you have 4 passengers, someone has to sit there.
If you are carrying cargo and put the third seat down, items can easily fall between the bucket sets in row 2.
It does not take hills well.
Defroster and heater are slow to get going--it takes forever to defrost windows in winter. We have had this "fixed" to no avail.
