We chose this particular car because it has three rows of seats but is not a minivan. It handles excellently and my husband described driving it as 'like driving on glass'. It is a very quiet smooth riding vehicle. It is also extremely spacious. I like that amount of space in the 'trunk' area even when the third row is positioned for seating and there is a wonderful amount of space when the third row has been laid flat.
Story
Our dry cleaner noticed I was driving a new vehicle and the next time he saw my husband, he teased him saying that he was trying to keep his woman happy by buying her a fancy car!
Pros
My favorite feature of this vehicle and the deciding factor in purchasing this car in comparison with some of the other vehicles we looked at, is this vehicle has captain chair seating in the middle row instead of a bench seat. This makes getting to the rear seat extremely easy. I also like the leather heated seats, the rear view camera, the rear a/c and heating controls and the remote start feature.
Cons
Mostly we have had only positive experiences with this vehicle. The remote rear hatch sensors have had some trouble. Sometimes when you push the remote for automatic close for the rear hatch, the door will come down like it is going to close but then opens back up again. We have been told that this is a common problem with this particular vehicle.

Don't let some of the major publications fool you, the Enclave has plenty of power, all the luxury you could want and a price that doesn't make your wallet scream. Some will claim that the Enclave lacks in horsepower. Sure, when you compare to the top tier BMW and Mercedes in the same class, but you're paying much more when the Enclave has all the same comfort with plenty of kick to spare. The leather wrapped captain's chairs cradle your body while the Bose noise cancelling system shuts out the outside world. This is the smoothest and most comfortable ride I've ever experienced, and I'm positive you'll agree.

Pros
Standard 18" wheels Leather captains chairs fold down third row seating 7 speaker Bose stereo Bose noise cancelling system Bluetooth XM satellite radio Connects seamlessly to my phone and Pandora
Cons
Even for an SUV, the turn radius is bad CD player still comes standard? Weird

The Buick Enclave is one of the best rides I have ever owned. It is dependable and reliable and very comfortable especially for long trips. The video system is controlled via the steering wheel making it easier to operate during traffic or regular driving. As a mother of a toddler, I realize how important it is to have a DVD player in the back of the car is for keeping him calm during long road trips, traffic and every day travel. I also really like the idea that I can control the volume of the music right from my steering wheel. I do not need to remove my eyes from the road. Another thing that I love about this vehicle is the automatic start, and the automatic trunk opening. It has a wide truck area for storing a lot of groceries, sports items and toddler items. It also has a 3rd row ... (more)
Story
There are so many memories I have using this car. The one memory that I would like to share is the time when I 1st pick up the car and I drove it to the beach. We were living in Florida at the time my son with only about 7 months all. Some problems that I have with this car.
Pros
I love the fact that the volume for the music is right on the steering wheel. There is a wide trunk for Storing and carrying large packages.
Cons
The navigation system is currently not working in my car and was never working right from the beginning of purchase. The car requires premium gas only and can be very expensive at times. Also to replace anything in the car such as tires can run you quite a bit of money.
