2006 BMW X3 - Better than I expected
We had never owned a BMW before and had not really looked into them. I happened to see an X3 used online at a great price so we went to look at it. I loved how it looked and the car was awesome to drive. It had great pick-up and it handled better than we expected for a SUV.
Story
I love owning a BMW...more than I even imagined. It's pretty cool to tell people I own a Beemer. Our extended family lives in Nebraska as farmers and ranchers. When we took the Beemer on a trip up there, our family kept calling it a bankers car and assumed that we were a lot better off than we are.
Pros
This car had options I didn't even know I wanted or needed. There are so many options that are on our 2006 that aren't even available on newer vehicles. The car came standard with Bluetooth connect ability, that was easier to program than our 2013 vehicle. It has auto-up on the driver's window. It has 3 personal settings for the drivers seat. It has heated leather seats in the front.
The look of the BMW X3 is very cool...it is perfect height for stepping right out of the car. You don't have to roll out, like you would with a lower vehicle...or need a ladder to climb out, like you wou... (more)
Cons
The X3 is perfect for our family's needs...married couple with 2 older children. The one drawback is that it doesn't lend itself for many more passengers...the backseat isn't big enough for 3 above average size teenagers.
