I loved the sleek style and overall performance of this vehicle. Especially the wood trim! It turned heads everywhere I went and people would often approach me about the car. I was also a delivery driver for a well-known pizza company, and it helped out with tips! It also handled all the abuse from driving all the time like a champ. New tires and full-synthetic oil changes also helped a lot! Like I said, a great car inside and out, which I wouldn't trade for anything! Way ahead of its time as far, as the technology inside, and always reliable because it is a strong German-built car. I still drive it now with no problems, and I have 140,000 miles under the belt.
Story
Reaching a top speed of 140 MPH on the highway without any cars around (I'm a very safe driver no accidents).
Pros
It is definitely an iconic and timeless vehicle that modern cars are only beginning to realize. The paint was also lead based, which means nothing could take it off. It is an army green-like a tank! Never ever been in an accident my whole life, and I wholeheartedly have this vehicle to thank for that. A treasure and dear friend I will always remember and admire.
Cons
The only cons I have is the costly maintenance and upkeep for maintaining such a masterpiece. Yes, foreign parts and replacements are expensive, but in the long run, I find it's always worth it. Also, I had people repeatedly steal my BMW badge, which I find too be a huge con and pain in the rear!
