1999 BMW 3 Series - Great Car
Nice car! Sexy, sporty and sexy. Perfect first car for the price. I honestly loved it since day one. I've had it for a few years and haven't thought about getting another car.
Story
I was driving home from work and pulled up to a red light. I guess some weirdo was walking about naked and he decided to sit on the hood of my car. I couldn't stop laughing.
Pros
Its actually an amazing build. It is very durable for fender benders, it has great safety with multiple air bags (5+ I think.). Its just a fun car to drive.
Cons
Because its a old car I do have to upgrade the parts a lot. Once it got to 180k, it started having lots of problems and needed a lot of repairs, also shifting became more difficult overtime.
2004 BMW 3 Series - Great used car with a strong engine
I bought this car used, and it is in great shape. It has 100k+ miles on it, and the engine runs perfect. Strong engine and no rattles or clunks. The paint looks amazing, and the inside is in great shape still. It has features that I love like small back windows that open electronically. The sunroof works fine, and all other electronics are good, including the sound. Air conditioning is ice cold.
Story
Burning some rubber after I had some shop work done, just a kick check up. Was able to burn past someone that was speeding like a demon in a much newer Subaru.
Pros
Strong engine. No clunks or whines in engine or rattles in the body/interior. All the electronics work fine, and the speaker system is strong. Has some fun features, and everything is electric.
Cons
Gas burner, it takes some gas and you should use premium. The upkeep is a little more expensive then your other vehicle choices.
