This is a solid car for commute and everyday driving with excellent handling. The 325xi does have a heavy curb weigh, but the engine easily offsets this for a car with plenty of pick up for suburban driving and commuting. Dry road handling is extremely tight and responsive, and the xdrive system is something I am not willing to abandon now that I've been driving with it. I have been in Coastal Georgia storms and Nor'easters and not had issues with losing control. The car also brakes in all conditions with minimal nosedive, has a softer break pedal I prefer for more control during deceleration.
Story
Whenever I drive the wife's car she always reminds me not to carry too much speed into the highway off ramp because I'm not in may car.
Pros
Although, coups and dedicated sports car will have better initial pick up, the 325xi accelerates very well in the 45 mph to 80 mph range, and this is for relevant for the driving I actually do daily than being quickest off the line to another red light.
Cons
- Small back seat. This car will stop being practical for the family once my kids start getting to be around 10. - Not as quick off the line as dedicated sports cars for enthusiasts. - Less fuel efficient than other technologies.

This 2003 BMW 325xi has been a great dependable vehicle. I live in an area with heavy snow/rainfall and Love the AWD that comes with this vehicle. This Car handles very smooth and has very little body roll at all and is very performance oriented but with a Luxury feel. Also having no major repairs and is a turn Key Car. I enjoy driving this car w/ its Options. I like the ~32MPG Average on the Highway but Power when needed and I love to be able to Shift my Automatic Sport Transmission. Overall very safe car w/ 6+ Airbags for Side Curtain and front/rear/side door airbags as well.
Story
There is a lot of twists and turn in my rural area. This Car handles nice and has little to no road noise in cabin either.
Pros
It has Great Performance feel to Acceleration/Engine Power/Gas Economy(32+MPG Highway) All Wheel Drive, does great in Snow or Wet weather traction. Nice Bright HID Headlights, heated seats, mirrors, and larger Brakes/Calipers/Rotors
Cons
Premium Gas Dealer Service Required Exotic for Insurance Coverage or Vehicle Warranty(More Expensive due to BMW(Exotic Car Model) and having AWD is more expensive in repair. Not a cheap Daily Driver
