2003 BMW 3 Series Owner Ratings & Reviews

2003 BMW 3 Series - Really, the ultimate driving machine!
This vehicle is truly the ultimate driving machine! I love the compact nature of the car, the body is very sleek. I have put over 100,000 miles on the car and have had very few problems that required lengthy repairs in a shop. The only problems I have had were very minor and easy to fix on my own. For example, the material on the roof is starting to come off and it needs a tuck in, the leather on the drivers seat is starting to split at the seams, and the button to roll the window up and down came off. The leather interior is very high quality and extremely comfortable. The steering and handling of this vehicle is out of this world! I feel that this vehicle is very reliable, you can go just about anywhere with it and not have to worry about it breaking down or having problems.
Story
My friend and I were going on a hike and decided to go up to Calistoga past Napa Valley. We wanted to go to a place called table rock, we typed it into the gps and before you know it we ended up on an unpaved frontage road that lead up to the peak of Mt. St. Helena. I did not think my little car could take the off road, unpaved, and steep trail but there was no place to turn around. We ended u... (more)
Pros
The steering on this vehicle is out of this world, and by far my favorite feature. For someone commuting to college, this would be a great vehicle and highly recommended as that's what I did and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I also like how much trunk space there is for such a small car.
Cons
The fabric on the roof and on the sides have a tendency of sagging off and you have to take it to an upholster to get it fixed. Some of the buttons have a tendency of being fragile. I have had problems with rain leaking into the car and causing a smell during the winter.
2003 BMW 3 Series - The ultimate driving machine.
I absolutely love this car. From the moment I purchased it I can honestly say I never want to drive anything else other than a BMW. The quality of German engineering is second to none.
Story
I used to drive this vehicle 1500 miles back and forth in the summertime when I would return from school and never had a problem with anything. I loved the large sunroof blowing wind in the car as I would drive through the mountains of Tennessee.
Pros
The first thing that stood out to me about the BMW 325i was its chic look. Its a very appealing style of vehicle. The vehicles lines stand out more than anything. It is also the most quiet driving car I have owned. Once inside the cabin there is virtually no road noise. Its a very smooth ride. You can go 80 mph and feel like you're doing 50. There are also many standard options as well as very unique upgrades. Mine was upgraded with a very scenic sunroof and leather interior. I found that the leather interior is much easier to keep clean compared to traditional cloth. Its standard in lin... (more)
Cons
There are some cons to this vehicle. Although I have not had any major mechanical issues, I know that parts and labor for this car are expensive. But you know the old saying, you get what you pay for, and I believe that to be %100 true with my BMW 325i. As long as you perform preventative maintenance (oil change, brake change, tire rotation, etc.), the car should last you a lifetime.
