1999 BMW 3 Series - My Dream was to own a Black Bimmer

There's just something about driving a BMW that makes you feel good about yourself. Whether it's the zipping hum from the engine upon acceleration or heated seats, my '99 323i is great for my self confidence. It came equipped with a set of winter tires that grip me tight to the icy roads around where I live. All leather inside. Retractable moon roof. Everything, the layout of the dash, the radio, the display HUD....all says 'class'. I picked it up at a dealership I used to work for in college. It was a good feeling coming back in there with the money to buy one of their nicer cars. I basically fell in love with it at first sight when I saw the Bimmer sitting on the auction lot. Story

When I first bought it and was driving off the lot I was with my good buddy. The song America's Most Wanted by Tupac & Snoop Dogg came on the radio. One of the lyrics was: "And my dream was to own a Black Bimmer, like Bugsy Seagal and do it all legal." It was great. Had to be there.

Pros

Acceleration, cool-air intake, multi-disc CD changer, heated seats, body design, traction control, tinted windows.

Cons

Power window assembly breaks easily. Had to replace all four within first two years. Defrost was broken at purchase and was costly to replace.

1999 BMW 3 Series - Ultimate driving machine

The ultimate driving machine. It is a BMW 323i that is made in Germany. Built to last. Hugs the road and takes on the mightiest curves. I look forward to driving this car everyday. German engineering through and through. Nothing beats the drivability and comfortability of this car. Highly recommend buying a used one since they can be had for really cheap. You will get a ton of looks driving this car. Premium finishes are a standard.

This car get a ton of looks everywhere I go. I got people looking at my car in a Starbucks drive thru and even offered to buy it right then and there.

Pros

This vehicle is an absolute joy to drive. Hugs the road every time. Take curves very well. Feels premium. Would highly recommend a BMW. Gets a ton of looks everywhere I go. People stop and ask me what is year is your car often. Premium finishes on the interior. Great gas mileage in the city and on the highway. Oil changes are done on a yearly bases. Great sounds. Braking power is outstanding. Comes with a sunroom. Comes with Leather interior. All these features are standard.

Cons

This vehicle can be expensive to maintain. Not every mechanic works on these cars, and the ones that do will take you for a ride. Be very carful where you go and be good friend with your mechanic. Feels a little underpowered and should opt for a higher trim level next time.
