I like the body style and color of the car. it is sleek and looks good. It drives great and doesn't have any engine noise or problems. It does need a steering stabilizer, it does jump to the side if you hit a bump going fast. It has many speakers in the car so if you want to replace any of them it can take some work. I however installed a competition sound system in the car, and found that it has a factory amp. The good thing about the soft top is if you have any problems with the motor you can manually open it .
Story
I enjoy driving the freeway and going to the beach with the top down.
Pros
I like the fact that it is a convertible, I can put the top down and enjoy the fresh air and sun while driving. It is fast and can get me where I need safely, it has a good engine build so it will last a long time and the interior/body is solid. Also, it has no rattles or vibrations.
Cons
The only problem I have had on this car is the fact that the convertible top has lots of problems, not just with my car but many others like. It seems to be a common problem with BMW convertibles, I looked up a lot of info on forums and see many complaints with the soft top. It can also be very pricey to fix problems if they occur .

I really like my 1997 BMW 318i. It runs well and has remained a relevant car even though it is 20+ years old. Other than the occasional issue of a part or two aging out, the automobile has ran clean. There is an issue with how the passenger window operates, however. The window constantly pops out of the track and requires me to open the inside of the door to fix it. I have had this same issue on the driver side window as well.
Story
My favorite memory is taking a road-trip to Minneapolis for a concert. A friend and I drove from Chicago to Minneapolis one summer and it remains one of my favorite experiences to date.
Pros
Heated Seats. Leather Interior. Great Gas Mileage. Engine Runs Clean.
Cons
Window issue. Expensive auto parts. Broken A/C. Car rides low.
