Another year has come and gone, yet the aging 2015 Audi Q7 continues to stay the course. The Q7 is a seven-passenger luxury SUV that features an upscale driving feel and a plush interior, but it hasn't changed that much since it was introduced in 2007. With newer rivals offering clear advantages in various respects, the 2015 Q7 is difficult to recommend. The Q7 is a vast, hulking beast, Hagrid on wheels relative to most normal cars and about as attractive too. To be fair, there are still some things to like about the 2015 Audi Q7. The interior really is quite nice, with high-quality surfaces and excellent build quality. A big part of what earned the Audi Q7 an Edmunds "B" rating involves its comfortable and quiet interior. As far as engines go, the optional TDI diesel-powered V6 delive... (more)

Driving with the whole family is really fun because its a 7 seater car which is best for my family
Pros
Reasons for you to Buy a 2014 Audi Q7 1) Exterior The 2014 Audi Q7 has a modern edge with a sleek silhouette. The front grill is large and impressive. Careful design and high quality materials make the Q7 a luxurious vehicle with the comfort of reliability. 2) Interior The interior is designed with impeccable taste with dark brown walnut wood trim. Leather in the Audi Q7 is soft and supple offering the inside interior a touch of elegance. Interior colors come in rich colors of black, cardamom, espresso, and limestone. 3) Seating The power front seats are easily adjustable for a comforta... (more)

Reasons You May Not Want to Buy a 2014 Audi Q7 1) Fuel Economy If you are looking for fuel economy, than 2014 Audi Q7 should be passed up for other better vehicles in its class. The Audi Q7 has an estimated 16-19 mpg in the city and 22 to 28 mpg on the highway depending on the model you choose. 2) Small Cargo Space Looking for a luxury SUV with plenty of cargo space, then this is not your car. Compared to other vehicles in its class the 2014 Audi Q7 has only 72 in cubic feet when the back two seats are folded flat making it a little difficult to put everything you need for a long road tr... Overall, I really enjoyed this vehicle. I appreciate vehicle features and this car doesn't disappoint. I drive...A LOT. As a special needs mom of 2, our Q7 has driven us all over town to therapies, doctors' appointments, school, etc. It is just 4 years old and is nearly 90,000 miles (purchased new). I love this car because it has the "umph" I need when accelerating quickly on a freeway, great brakes for those close-calls, and features to keep our family safe (blind-spot protection, lane departure warnings, 360 camera, great sight lines (minus the large A Pillar on the driver's side). With the third row folded down, I can regularly carry my child's stroller, extra supplies (diapers, wipes, clothes, towels, blankets, etc.) with ease. Second row seating is spacious and comfortable, but do... (more)
Story
I cannot think of one specific story, but I have Vanderbilt memorabilia on my car and my alma mater is rather unique for the area of the country I currently reside. I remember one time, someone approached me just for seeing my alma mater.
Pros
Great driving feel and maneuverability. Folding mirrors. 360 camera. Great space for up to a family of 4. Heated seats. Cooled seats. Cold/consistently strong air conditioning. Low amount of oil changes needed compared to other brands. Gas tank located on passenger side. Storage container in trunk. Spare tire not included. 2 tethers for car seats located in 3rd row. Power folding seats in 3rd row. Mirrors fold in automatically when car is locked. Steering wheel buttons/shortcuts are perfectly placed and intuitive.
Cons
Exterior of car seems much larger than interior space. Feeling of lost/wasted room. Lack of air vents in 3rd row. No capability of remote start. Lock button functionality in passenger row despite childproof life activated. No unlock capability in passenger row. Lack of captain chairs feature. Need to check air in tires is a manual feature, not automated or able to be checked electronically. Initially low amount of vendors providing run-flat tires for this car. Experienced an inordinate amount of tire feathering requiring multiple replacements of tires. Mouse pad in center console is comple... (more)

Upgraded sound system and blind spot monitoring, and it gives me access to more options. If you have a long commute, you will appreciate the driver assistance package and its suite of active driver aids. If you live in an extreme climate, you will want to consider the cold or warm weather packages. Whatever your needs, the Q7 Premium Plus likely has a package to meet them.
Pros
iPod integration. Heated seats. Built-in performance meters. Blind spot detection. Automatic headlights. Keyless ignition/entry. Power liftgate. Rearview camera. Voice recognition software. XM satellite radio.
