I have always been brand loyal to Audi, so when it was time to get rid of my 2002 A6, I decided to look at something that would be very versatile. I looked at comparable vehicles such as BMW X3's and Acura MDX's just to name a few because I thought I wanted a change of pace. I then came across a 35k mile Q5 that was at my local Audi dealer and decided to stop in and glance at it. I became hooked after the test drive! Felt smooth, comfortable and the interior is well designed. I have put nearly 20K miles on it in a little more than a year and a half and am glad I decided to stay loyal to the Audi brand.
Story
Skiing in Aspen, and trips to see long distance family members. It makes it manageable and fun for my wife and I.
Pros
Very versatile, functions like a bigger vehicle while maintaining the maneuverability of a compact car. Has great storage and roof rack capabilities. Easy for my wife to drive :). Equipped with a very well known and proven Audi drivetrain, the 2.0T. Plows through snow (take trips to Colorado every once in a while).
Cons
Have to replace all four tires because of all wheel drive. There's a button for everything, to start and stop the engine, why can't it be one but haha.

The Q3 is the smallest SUV/crossover vehicle currently offered in the US by Audi. You would expect more power since it's an Audi, but I believe it's a four cylinder, so even stomping on the gas is going to provide limited results. The leather interior and automatic seats are a nice-to-have feature.
Story
One time while I was driving, a wasp flew in the window, and in a panic, I opened the panoramic sunroof, which was able to blow that sucker out.
Pros
It looks stylish and sleek as one would expect from Audi. It is a small SUV, so it's maneuverable, and you don't feel like you're driving a big boat. The panoramic sunroof is very enjoyable, even on days you don't open it because you can still pull the screen back and enjoy the view or you can close it and shield yourself from the sun.
Cons
Space! If you're the driver, then you'll be fine, but if you're going to have passengers in the car, they'll probably be uncomfortable, especially the rear passengers. There is absolutely no legroom in this car unless the front seats are pushed all the way to the front, and there's no legroom for the front passenger unless the seat is pushed all the way to the back. There's barely any storage space for the trunk either.
