Well designed, with a refined and comfortable interior, the A3 comes with Bose audio and a 200HP turbo-charged 2 liter powerhouse. While maintenance costs and some weaknesses in the air-conditioning system may put you off, day-to-day driving experience will meet high expectations.
Story
Driving through switchbacks in the Appalachian mountains on a crisp, sunny day with a some great music to provide a soundtrack to the wonders of nature was sublime with this car. The driving experience is engaging and present, despite what would seem like distractions of sight and sound. It was like the combination of all these things instead of the competition between them.
Pros
Performance, engine reliability, excellent ride comfort, good handling, good sound-system.
Cons
General maintenance costs and complexity are high and dissuade DIY-ers. The A/C system blows like a mouse coughing and has some weak points in the condenser that should have triggered a recall. Also, the geometry of the windows in relation to the window controls means that if the window is slightly cracked open rain will pour onto the controls, eventually leading to replacement costs - it's a bit trivial, but it will happen.

2010 Audi A3 - It rides smoothly, is comfortable and has the features I enjoy.

I love the color, navigation and feel of the vehicle. It's black and that's one of my favorite colors. It's a head turner. Anywhere you go, people notice it. To some people that may be a negative but to me it's a positive. The car also has a very modern look and vibe.
Story
When I first purchased the car, I went to visit my dad and he didn't know who it was when I first pulled up, because it was so different from my previous car. He seemed impressed by the car.
Pros
I'd say this is the car I always wanted. My first car was okay but not as nice as this one. I always wanted this car. I receive a lot of compliments on it and it's super fun to drive it.
Cons
The only thing I dislike is that the maintenance is somewhat costly. In a way it's worth it. But I know if I had a different model car, the maintenance would probably be cheaper. Other than that I don't really have any major complaints.
