Overall the car has been very reliable, but there have been some mechanical issues along the way.
Story
A 14 year old girl hit me while changing lanes at a red light...and she was on her way to take her driving test with her Mom in the car.
Pros
The car's steering is tight and it has good performance considering it has a fairly small 4 cylinder engine. The navigation system was cool when I first bought the car, but that feature has become ubiquitous since then. I have been pretty rough on this car and it has held up fairly well despite that.
Cons
I have 165,000 miles on it and have been affected by some issues that are apparently common to the TSX. One was a power steering pump leak for which a recall was issued. My local dealer did not perform the recall repair correctly, so I dealt with a power steering fluid leak for a long time before I figured out what happened. Also, the interior dash display has been dim for years. There is an apparent electronic problem that many people online have said they also have. Recently my A/C compressor went out as well. But for a car with this many miles, overall I am happy with it.
