The 2005 Acura TL is an all around great car to own. It handles like a sports car, gets decent gas mileage and is very dependable. I have 100,000 miles on my Acura TL and I have never had a major repair, in fact, I have never had any repair other than routine maintenance. The Acura TL is very fun to drive, it truly hugs the road, I have never encountered a unexpected obstacle that I couldn't deftly steer around or stop for. Where I live we have thousands of deer roaming around and they have a way of wandering out into the road when you least expect it. I have never even come close to hitting one, or anything else for that matter. It has a built in navigation system which is nice for trips and the sound system is pretty sweet for a standard issue. Story
I think this car has a guardian angel, there have been several close calls with other cars etc. that it always gets me out of. One time we had a pretty bad ice storm and trees were falling all around, a tree that was literally leaning over the car fell almost sideways and missed the back bumper by about an inch.
Pros
-Stylish looks -Handles well -Comfortable ride -Decent gas mileage
Cons
-Navigation system gets out of date quickly and they require you to purchase updates -Not much leg room in the back
