2016 Acura RDX - Right size and best features.
The 2016 RDX is a great compromise between size, power, sports, and technology. It comes with all the "bells and whistles" you could really hope while at the same time providing a real "meat and potatoes" experience for the driver/owner. It is a nice crossover that doesn't really fit the mold of a "car" or a "truck." It looks sleek and durable. Whether you are a young professional or a mom with kids, you will be more than satisfied.
Story
I was able to swerve using the superior handling to avoid running someone over who darted out in front.
Pros
The leather interior is really well done, and the technology package version gives you a great music, navigation and entertainment experience behind the wheel. The size of the interior space is incredible as well. The vehicle has a great supply of power when you need it. If you need to whiz past someone on the road, just switch the gear into sport mode and you will have more than enough power. All dealers are offering some type of deal when you buy or finance too. It's also great in the snow with all-wheel drive for those stormy days in the north.
Cons
The gas mileage, when in sport mode, isn't too great, but that's understandable since you are going to more power and hence more gas is burned. It also seems to me that the brakes wore out pretty quickly (within about 12,000 miles).
2015 Acura RDX - Good car
The style. I really, really love the body styling if the new RDX. It is elegant, aggressive, sporty, modern. I really love the 19" shark gray wheels. The cabin is modern, luxurious and I would say, elegant. Love panorama sunroof.
Pros
It's a gorgeous car! It rides like a dream. I drove it out of state the second day I had it and it surpassed my expectations! The comfort was superb and handling on sport or sport+ mode was nice and tight. The seats are soft and supple. Loved the lane keep assist and cruise control features - the car sort of drives itself! The panoramic sunroof is a gorgeous addition.
Cons
Bad navigation: The first time I tried to use the navigation system, it would not recognize the address. I tried every method. ( It was the address for the Bethpage DMV!). I called my sales person and he walked me through the steps, it still did not recognize the address.
