2010 Acura RDX - Not worth the money
The Acura RDX turbo is a great car overall. It has the ability to accelerate remarkably quickly and seems to have great traction on the road. The size and the style of the car are beautiful! We decided to buy an RDX with over 250,000 miles on it, and every mechanic we have had look at it has said it is in amazing condition for being such a high mileage car.
Story
My husband and I drove back home (nine hours+), and we had so much fun. We talked, sung and laughed for the entire time! Plus, I had the nice, heated seats that have a million different ways you can arrange them for when I felt a bit stiff.
Pros
The best thing about the vehicle is the shape it is in. I also love the heated seats, and the style of the car is beautiful. I also think that it is the perfect size, as the other cars I test drove were far too big for me to feel safe on the road.
Cons
Most of the negatives stemmed from it being such a high mileage car. We have spent over $2,000 on it (we paid $9,000), and the car makes creaking sounds when it goes over bumps and potholes. The CD player/navigation system were also rusted out from the previous owner, but the dealership had told us to simply install a disk and it would work fine (nothing about the condition of the system was told to us or shown on their inspection sheet).
2010 Acura RDX - A Great Small Size SUV
You can definitely tell that the Acura RDX is a luxury class vehicle. The interior is good quality and the seats and arm rests are really plush and comfortable for long car rides. It drives smoothly and does not make much noise, and it is easy to control. It is also reliable and easy to handle even when driving on snow, I have not experienced much skidding or loss of control. For an AWD vehicle, the gas mileage is decent. The seats are very easy to fold down, and when they are in that position there is quite a bit of storage space in the rear. I have transported many things in there, including an adult bicycle, and on another occasion, a china cabinet.
Pros
The best is how smooth it is and how comfortable it is. We do a lot of distance driving to visit family, so it's important that it handles well. I also like that there is an aux connection so we can connect our media devices. I also love the seat memory so my husband and I can each program a different setting.
Cons
There really aren't many negatives but it does take premium gas so that's more expensive. It also doesn't identify which song is played on the radio, which our other (older) car does.
