2008 Acura MDX - Good quality family vehicle.
7 seat vehicle is definitely a pro, although the 2 back seats are really only usable for kids.
Navigation system is a plus.
Stereo system is nice as well.
Overall size of vehicle is good. It's not a really large SUV, but more midsized.
My wife really likes driving it because it's not overly big.
Vehicle feels really luxurious overall. My wife and I picked this vehicle over a four year newer Honda Pilot due to the overall feel of the vehicle and all the sweet options.
Story
driving this vehicle in the snow is actually a lot of fun. The traction system allows you to feel safe.
Pros
The status of having an Acura is also a pro.
Turning radius is good.
Vehicle drives very well in snow and ice.
Has a tow package, which is convenient. Also, it has a roof system available for a rooftop carrier.
Backup camera is nice and helpful, even at night.
Cons
Gas mileage is not very good, which is definitely a negative.
Also the vehicle has to use premium fuel, which is a con as well due to the expense.
Leather seats are nice, although they seem to tear easily.
2008 Acura MDX -
I just bought this car used to replace an MDX I bought new and totaled. I really like the new car. It's got the technology package which includes GPS and a premium sound system. It drives really nice and looks very attractive.
Story
I was offered satellite radio free for two months, so that has been fun listening to that. I haven't had the car long enough to have a lot of memories. However, it is very fun to drive. It has a lot of power and drives very smoothly on the freeway. There is a ton of cargo room. The leather seats are very luxurious.
Pros
The sound system is awesome. It handles really well and is very quiet on the road. I like the roominess of the interior and the exterior lines of the car. It has dual front heating/air controls and power seats with driver side memory function. It is nice to have the GPS.
Cons
There is a gurgling sound in the dashboard that makes me crazy. The CD disc player was broken but is now fixed.
